This article is for anyone who has ever worried about not being able to save enough money or doesn’t know how budgeting works. It’s time to make changes. With the economy being what it is, and daily expenses growing beyond most people’s ability to handle, there’s no denying that times are tough. These changes don’t have to be drastic or dramatic – helpful resources. They help raise awareness about your spending habits and can eventually help you save more. Let’s get into the world savings by budgeting correctly.
First, I’m not going to tell anyone how to live their life or what they should do. Second, it’s not my job to lecture them about budgeting. It’s frustrating when financial gurus try to get in people’s faces about money. I’m here to help and give practical advice that will help people identify areas in their lives or spend patterns and where they can cut back to save money. The first thing I recommend is to make a list. Divide it into two columns. Column 1 will contain the essential expenses and Column 2 will include the optional. Column 1 will include items like car and house payments, fuel, food, and phone bills .
Column 2 is where you should look at your bank statements to see where you can make savings. Most people are unaware of things they do not know. Let’s suppose that columns are not for you and you prefer to look at your bank statements. You can use a highlighter to highlight any purchases that you might want to eliminate or reduce. It’s amazing how much money you can save by simply highlighting the expenses that you can reduce. In some cases, it could be as high as $100-1500.00 per week.
